Achieve Success @ SWOT Analysis

I want to be rich. I want to be famous. I want to have lots of friends and fans. The wish list goes a never ending long way. The vital question that one should ask to themselves is, how am I going to achieve that success? Success does not come overnight. Until of course one has a wonderful luck, who may win a jackpot overnight?
The effective and historic strategy which has helped a lot of people in achieving their success is through the help of “SWOT Analysis”.
In a goal setting method, SWOT Analysis plays a key role. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Let’s take an example of a student who wants to score A grade in the calculus course. The first thing the student should do is to access her/his strengths about the course. Might be her/his strength is that she/he is good in solving basic level questions. On the other hand, her/his weakness  is in solving the intermediate or higher level questions. Now the threats may be in many forms; like, she/he may fail the calculus course, and may loose respect among her/his social circle. Instead of being pessimist, she/he should be optimistic in solving the threat or problem by seeking opportunity. The opportunity for her/him  might be in the form of taking help from some one who may help her/him in understanding the concepts of solving the intermediate or higher level courses. The opportunity could be in the form of tutor, professor, teacher, or a friend; who know the concepts better and may assist her/him in understanding the course.
SWOT analysis helps in discovering one’s strengths and weaknesses which are internal factors. These factors can be controlled by one to achieve success. On the other hand, Threats and opportunities are the external factors which are analyzed and solve through external help or support.
SWOT Analysis has helped lots of companies and people in getting success.
